As stated on the Member's Board page, any player receiving a suspension that prohibits them from participating in any hockey activities, has the right to register an appeal with the Member's Board. Filing of appeal must be done in writing within 10 days of when the suspension was levied. If not received within 10 days the player loses their right of appeal. Said player should keep in mind that they must demonstrate how an error was made when the suspension was levied.
*An appeal will not delay the immediate implementation of the suspension. *Any player that receives a one year (365 days) suspension, must apply for reinstatement and go before the HOHI/IPHAHL Board for review.
The main purpose of the HOHI/IPHAHL Member's Board is the overall safety and well being for all players and officials, and the integrity of the game and league.
